Anzac tasks


This is some tasks we need to do I will highlight what I have done.



Word Work

In your Inquiry folder create a Anzac document about the below:
ANZAC is an acronym. What is an acronym? Find in your dictionary.

What does it stand for?


Try and find some Anzac words in this wordsearch.

Create your own word search OR crossword.

Listen to the audio of “The Last Post” Click here Write down how it makes you feel in a document. Start with this sentence ‘When I listen to the Last Post it makes me feel…..’

Watch the video on how to make ANZAC biscuits. Turn the sound off on your computer and Click here. Record how to make them as a drawing document - add illustrations. Maybe you have another way to present this?
Write some questions to ask your family what they know about ANZAC day.
Independent Reading

Read for 15 minutes reading a ANZAC journal without moving around the room.

Now …….. How can you show your knowledge? Add information to your K.W.L (to the ‘What I have Learnt’). Could you present this as a movie - Create a script to show your understanding through drama? Maybe as a cartoon? Educreation? Thinglink? I hope that you can come up with some great ideas too!!!!
